PODBEAN

Podbean is a great site to host your podcasts, and it's free. You can then add your podcast to your blog using their built in player. Very cool. After registering, you can change your password to whatever you want. The home page may be a bit confusing, but after you log in, just click "publish a podcast" to get to your account. Podbean works just like a blog. It even has a dashboard. Click on the player below to hear an embedded podcast that was downloaded from Podbean.

BIG HUGE LABS

BIG HUGE LABS is another free, fun, and educational web 2.0 site that makes puzzles, maps, pic cubes, mosaics and many other items from your digital pictures. Here is a link to a picture cube we made of the students in our Chatham tech class.

GLOGSTER

Check out our new favorite 2.0 site called Glogster. You can make cool on line posters using images, sounds, text, and videos. We added an AMIMOTO video to a Glog, a podcast, a PhotoStory 3, and a video from YouTube. Think of the possibilities for educational use!! Click on the link to see our Glog.

Digital Natives / Digital Immigrants

Today's school children are considered digital natives, while many of their teachers are considered digital immigrants. In the 21st century school, we all need to learn to speak their language by using technology everyday. Check out a digital native vid from You Tube.
